The worldwide ed-tech event of the year, BETT brings together technologies, practices, ideas and people from over 146 global markets. At BETT, HP welcomes education professionals and through a diverse programme that covers keynote addresses, product showcases, panel sessions, workshops and 1-2-1s, it communicates and shares its position of leadership within the ed-tech sector.

The global pandemic changed all that and BETT 2021 evolved to ‘go virtual’. To re-imagine such an eclectic mix of ‘real life’ interactions into a virtual world in which ‘visitors’ could experience the programme of events and interact with industry experts, HP turned to Consenna.

Solution

Quickly assembling a multi-disciplinary team of experts and pursuing a strict schedule of planning and alignment meetings, Consenna delivered, in just six weeks, a fully interactive event comprising live and on-demand content to replicate, as near as possible, HP’s presence at BETT.

Overall online event design and technology integration, staging and management was handled by Consenna’s team of specialists who delivered an unrivalled combination of knowledge across user experience, digital innovation, rapid design and deployment of custom solutions, and support on marketing activity. Executing campaigns in tandem with HP ensured that delegates were driven to register for and attend the schedule of events.

The Result

HP’s virtual event secured over 500 unique user registrations and in excess of 1000 user sessions took place over the three days of BETT, with 92% of the sessions being watched live.

14 live and six pre-recorded sessions featuring HP’s industry experts, selected education specialists and renowned research gurus, were complemented by live panels discussing the ‘Future of Education’. At the heart of HP’s virtual experience stood the ‘3D City of Education’, designed by Live Marketing specialists ArtLabs to enable the HP offer to be explained, live, from various perspectives.

By partnering with leaders in smart booking systems, Appointedd, Consenna highlighted online opportunities for users, such as joining sessions live; customising their own agendas; and simply booking content in a way that integrated sessions into busy daily schedules.
