Customer Challenge
Success with their HP for Education (HPfE) programme complemented HP’s desire to drive awareness between the consumer and education markets in the UK.
Solution
HP engaged Consenna to design and manage a promotional campaign to offer customers the opportunity to provide a school of their choice with free HP technology when they purchased a qualifying HP premium consumer laptop from a participating retailer.
Consenna developed an easy-to-use consumer website where proof of purchase could be uploaded, and a nomination made for a school to receive £200 of HPfE credit. To drive awareness of the campaign, an electronic mailer describing the opportunity was emailed to 30,000 schools, whilst flyers and posters that schools could download to raise awareness amongst parents were created.

The Result
Retailers including John Lewis and Currys PC World have been involved in the campaign. To date £52,000 of credit has been gifted by HP for schools to spend. Schools have reported that the additional funds have proved invaluable in a year where they’ve needed to support more and more pupils with home learning.
