In fact, so impressive has her impact been, that she’s already been promoted to Customer Service Manager! Here she tells us more about what it’s like to work at Consenna.
The past four months have been quite a whirlwind! Having worked in some large and very ‘corporate feeling’ organisations, I was both keen and intrigued to see what it would be like to work for a smaller yet rapidly growing business. When I discovered Consenna, I was in no doubt that this was where I wanted to further develop my customer service experience.
The energy and values of the team totally resonated with me and from day one it was clear that this was a supportive and collaborative environment where personal development is positively encouraged. Of course, Trevor Evans, Paul Thompson and Douglas Jeffrey are the technology industry equivalent of a rock star supergroup, so that was a huge draw as well!
I have prior experience working within the reseller industry, so I understand the challenges that can face our customer base. This, hopefully, means that I can pre-empt some of their queries or concerns before we launch programmes for them, and in doing so make our offer to customers both smoother and more user-friendly.
Refreshingly, there really isn’t a typical day here at Consenna. From handling customer queries to training up team members on new customer programmes being rolled out, this is an environment that is buzzing with passion and a desire to continually grow.
When I started in November, I never dreamt that I’d be promoted so quickly. The fact, however, that I have been is testament to the unique culture at Consenna and I’m honoured by the faith that the board has placed in me to be part of the team’s continued growth. Already I’ve been able to recruit a former colleague of mine to join the team and we’re also in the process of looking for another person to join us.
Whilst working at Consenna often doesn’t really feel like work at all due to the level of enjoyment gained from it, I do have a life outside of the office too. I’m a big music fan with an eclectic range of music that encompasses everything from Heavy Metal to Classical, and I’m never happier than when I’m with my partner Chuck and our dog McGee – in fact, he often joins me in the office…. McGee, that is, not Chuck![/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
